At this time we are accepting general resume submissions from qualified individuals interested in working with the Science Center in Greenville, NC.

About Us:

The mission of the Eastern NC Regional Science Center (DBA: GO-Science) is to enable the exploration and experience of science and math through engaging and enriching interactive experiences that consequently enhance the levels of science and math literacy for all people in North Carolina.

GO-Science, a regional science center being developed in Greenville North Carolina, will focus on enhancing the level of science and math literacy for all people in the region. Open to the public as a regional resource, the center will offer programs for grade school levels, undergraduate and graduate studies and for the independent adult learner.

This science center will enrich the community and the region through on-site programs that offer unique learning and entertainment opportunities that will excite and stimulate students and visitors. The center will include a planetarium, temporary and permanent exhibit spaces, a Challenger Learning Center (CLC), the East Carolina University Center for Science Technology, and Math Education, advanced life-sciences and physics-chemistry classrooms, a local television station with a complete weather department and studio, along with a gift shop and café.

While the facility itself is in the development stages an outreach program has been established to go into classrooms across the region and provide exciting, hands-on innovative learning. In addition, the first phase of the science center is projected to open to the public in Fall 2010.
